Anne Boccato is a vocalist, composer, pianist and percussionist born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. She has been living in New York City, USA, for over 15 years. She teaches piano and performs her own music. She founded Asaran Earth Trio out of a desire to reach into our collective history found in tradition. Her aim is to connect people to themselves and to each other through her compositions, be they instrumental or songs sung in Portuguese, English or Spanish. When she’s not singing, playing or teaching music, Anne can be found giving workshops on time management for artists, something she developed from years of research on how to make the freelancer’s life work for her.
